RFK Jr. Reportedly Fails to Make the Cut for Presidential Debate

As the summer season of 2024 continues to progress, the upcoming November General federal election cycle is ever closer. With less than 5 calendar months now separating the nation from election day, it is time to significantly pay attention to the political events that are likely to unfold in a volatile manner over the next lengthy period of this calendar year. Currently, the United States is in a bad place politically. The country is divided, polarized and tense like perhaps never before in the history of the nation except for the years preceding the American Civil war. Both major political parties have nominees for the presidency that are unpopular and widely disliked. And a reason article by the conservative media outlet Newsmax, the incumbent 46th president of the United States Joe Biden was given a 37% approval rating. Donald Trump the 45th president and real estate business mobile from New York City was also only looked upon favorably by some 41% of respondents in a similar study. It is clear that most politics in the present are quite tense.

Trump and Biden are currently locked in a dead heat, with most poles projecting a race separated by a very slim margin. Trump had previously enjoyed leads amongst independents, and in several major swing states, but following his indictment and becoming the first president in the history of the United States to be charged as a felon, his poll numbers have largely suffered.

One in four voters are projected to dislike both Trump and biden. Many would prefer a third party candidate as a viable alternative to either man for the presidency. Unfortunately though this is unlikely to occur. One Democrat turned independent, Robert Kennedy Jr who was attempting to run recently received bad news as it appears that he is no longer in the running for qualifying for the first presidential debate set to be held on CNN next week.
