Taliban Spokesman Praises Joe Biden Administration for Inclusion

On July 1st, Taliban terrorists wrapped up their participation at a United Nations-led international conference on Afghanistan’s future, praising the United States government for the engagement and thanking the organizers for inviting them.

United Nations Undersecretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo presided over a two-day conference in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday and Monday. Several officials of various nations met, and the meetings were called the Doha Talks. International human rights organizations were outraged, and talks with Western nations were made more difficult since the Taliban refused to include Afghan women.

In his speech at the conference, senior representative Zabihullah Mujahid, who heads the Taliban delegation, recognized the worldwide displeasure with the Taliban’s brazen abuse of women but said it was a diplomatic duty for countries to disregard their abuses.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, formerly known as the Taliban, has ruled Afghanistan without opposition since August 15, 2021.

Terrorists launched a takeover campaign that led to the fall of Kabul in early 2021 after President Biden chose to disregard a deal that former President Donald Trump had struck with the Taliban and the previous Afghan government.

The Taliban made their first appearance in the Doha negotiations this week after trying to put excessive expectations on the UN in their previous two engagements over their involvement.

Meeting notes made public by Mujahid stressed the Taliban’s purported commitment to constructive interaction with the world and called on the appropriate authorities to remove sanctions so that Afghanistan might prosper.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) said that the Taliban’s elimination of poppy production and the opium trade might damage Afghanistan’s addict population.

He proposed that sanctions be lifted as a gift to the Taliban for reducing the global supply of opium.

The policies implemented by the Biden administration in Afghanistan have not only strengthened al-Qaeda’s influence in the country but have also been very beneficial to the Taliban.

According to a report released by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), payments totaling $10.9 million have been facilitated by the Biden administration to the Taliban dictatorship in Afghanistan after the catastrophic departure of American soldiers in August 2021.
