Creations, a digital library platform used in 94% of American elementary schools. Under China’s 2017 National Intelligence Law, TAL must provide student data to the Chinese government upon request, giving communist authorities unprecedented access to American children’s personal information and learning habits.
Senators Jon Husted, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski demanded a CFIUS national security review of this acquisition in December 2025, warning that the CCP now controls editorial content reaching millions of American students.
